Salford City Council are to under take a consultation on a draft conservation area appraisal for the Roe Green/Beesley Green Conservation area. The purpose of the appraisal is to identify what is important about the character and appearance of a conservation area and identify its special interest.A conservation area appraisal can
1.Identify buildings and features that make a positive contribution to the conservation area
. 2.Inform decisions on planning applications within and around the conservation area .
3. Amend the boundary of the conservation area.
For those that live in and around Roe Green/Beesley Green these are important matters.
To find out more Salford City Planning department are holding a drop in between 2- 8pm on Wednesday 2nd March at Beesley Green community centre were a planning officer will be present to answer any questions.
