We have been asked what Mary Dearden “The Lavender Lady” will be talking about on the 12th February. Mary will be bringing Lavender plants and taking us through how to grow Lavender, how to use Lavender and how to use Lavender in cookery just for starters, so a good show is promised and hope to see you there.

On the last day of the year, Roe Green turned into a winter wonderland, even though none of the surrounding areas had any snow!

The Lavender Lady
Friends of Roe Green present the Lavender Lady:
On 12 February 2009 we are delighted to present Mary Dearden, the Lavender Lady. Please join us at Beesley Green Community Centre for what we know will be a delightful and entertaining event.
Starting at 2pm, refreshments will be served, and there will also be a raffle and a bookstall.
Admission is £1.50.
